On 14/10/2014 the cabinet of ministers adopted amendments to the Regulations (in force from 31.10.2014.) which determine the reception of support funding for: 

• Participation in international exhibitions abroad;
• Participation in conferences (seminars) abroad, where  a presentation is provided on the project's Latvian produced goods and services;
• The participation in :
  • Trade missions, including visits of high ranking state officials organized by LIAA;
  • Contact exchanges abroad;
  • personal visits to potential partners in target markets abroad. 

•  Conformity assessment for production facilities and products, which confirms that the product, process, service or person complies with the foreign target market`s requirements, if such a compliance assessment is a prerequisite for marketing products in foreign markets.

The amount of support funding is up to 70% of the approporiate cost.

Support funding can be claimed up to 3 months after the foreign visit .
