On 14/10/2014 the cabinet of ministers adopted amendments to the Regulations (in force from 31.10.2014.) which determine the reception of support funding for:
- Participation in international exhibitions abroad;
- Participation in conferences (seminars) abroad, where a presentation is provided on the project's Latvian produced goods and services;
- The participation in :
- Trade missions, including visits of high ranking state officials organized by LIAA;
- Contact exchanges abroad;
- personal visits to potential partners in target markets abroad.
- Conformity assessment for production facilities and products, which confirms that the product, process, service or person complies with the foreign target market`s requirements, if such a compliance assessment is a prerequisite for marketing products in foreign markets.
The amount of support funding is up to 70% of the approporiate cost.
Support funding can be claimed up to 3 months after the foreign visit .
